André Ribeiro is a member of the investment management team at Brasil Capital, which he joined in 2008. Formerly, he was a partner at FAMA Investimentos for more than five years, having worked as trader, analyst and portfolio manager. Before joining FAMA Investimentos, he worked at Bradesco Templeton Asset Management as a trader and equity analyst and at UBS Paine Webber (San Francisco office). André Ribeiro graduated in Economics from the University of São Paulo and has concluded specialization studies in Finance at UC Berkeley, California.
Antenor Gomes Fernandes

Founding partner and CIO at STK Capital. From 2008 to 2010, Antenor Fernandes was vice president of Banco Safra in São Paulo, responsible for the bank’s Wealth Management and Private Banking divisions. From 2004 to 2008, he was head of Safra Asset Management in New York. From 1999 to 2004, he was responsible for the equity and the funds divisions of Safra National Bank of New York. From 1997 to 1998, he worked as an equity analyst at Paribas bank in New York. From 1991 to 1995, he worked in the Corporate Finance department of Unibanco in São Paulo. Antenor Fernandes graduated in Economics (1990) from Universidade Candido Mendes, in Rio de Janeiro, and holds an MBA (1997) from Columbia University, in New York.

Member of Studio Investimentos’ Investment Committee and co-portfolio manager of Studio FIC FIA, which returned 67.8% since its inception, at the end of 2009 (until the end of May 2015), contrasting with a loss for the Ibovespa Index of 22.3% during the same period. In 2009, Breno Guerbatin was a manager with TV Globo. From 2008 to 2009, he was an equity analyst and a member of the Managing Committee of BNY Mellon ARX. From 2005 to 2008, he was a partner and the Investment Officer of Brazil Energy, a private-equity boutique focused on energy and infrastructure. From 2002 to 2005, he was an investment analyst and a fund manager at Opportunity Asset Management. Breno Guerbatin graduated in Production Engineering from UFRJ and has a postgraduate Degree in Corporate Law from FGV-RJ.

Fabio Alperowitch, CFA is a founding partner with FAMA Investimentos, an independent investment management firm founded in 1993 that focuses on small-cap stocks and private equity. The firm currently manages about R$ 1 billion — predominantly from universities, pension funds, and insurance companies — and has a return of 23% per year compounded for 22 years. Fabio Alperowitch graduated in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas and was awarded the CFA — Chartered Financial Analyst — designation.

Gabriel Andrade is a partner with Opus Gestão de Recursos and co-manager of its distressed debt strategy. He has 15 years of experience in financial markets, mostly dedicated to stressed assets, having worked with private equity at CVC/Opportunity Equity Partners and having headed financial consulting on distressed assets at Arsenal Investimentos.

Guilherme Vicente is partner and head of equity-fund management at Mauá Sekular. Formerly, he was founding-partner and portfolio manager at Apoena Investimentos. He started his career at GPS - Global Portfolio Strategists, where he became head of equities and, in April 2005, started his first Clube de Investimentos, ORION, later on converted into a fund and which has returned 20% per year since inception (compared with 12% per year from the CDI fixed-income Brazilian index and 13% per year from the Ibovespa index during the same period). Guilherme Vicente is a Board member at AMEC and a member of the Audit Committee at Fras-le. He graduated in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (EAESP).
Leonardo Deeke Boguszewski

CEO at JMalucelli Investimentos, where he helped create both equity funds managed by the company, focusing on dividends and small caps. From June 2008 to March 2015, their gains were 54.5% and 43.2%, contrasting with a 21.3% loss for the Ibovespa Index during the same period. In 2012, Leonardo Boguszewski worked at the mergers and acquisitions department at UBS Investment Bank in New York. Since April of 2014, he has been a member of Eternit’s Board of Directors. Leonardo Boguszewski graduated in Economics from FAE Business School and holds an MBA, with distinction, from New York University Stern School of Business, where he also earned the designations Beta Gamma Sigma and Stern Scholar.

Partner with Jardim Botânico Investimentos (JBI), Marcio Brito has 22 years of professional experience. From 2005 to 2009, he was partner, senior analyst, and head of private equity at Investidor Profissional (having been Chairman of the Board of Casa Show and board member of Mills S/A). From 2002 to 2005, he was Brazil equity strategist and Latam petrochemicals, oil & gas senior analyst at UBS Investment Bank. Formerly, he has worked at Banco BBA Creditanstalt, Banco Icatu, and Shell Brasil. Marcio Brito has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UFRJ and was awarded the CFA — Chartered Financial Analyst — designation. Founded in May 2003, JBI is an independent asset management firm that, in 2007, sponsored the publication in Brazil of Benjamin Graham’s The Intelligent Investor.

Pedro Franco Sales is manager of the Brazilian Equities strategy — and responsible for its analysis team — at Verde Asset Management. He joined Hedging-Griffo in 2005, where he became a partner in 2006 and an equity portfolio manager in 2009. He started his career in 1999, at JGP, as an equity analyst responsible for covering technology companies in global markets. Pedro Franco Sales graduated in Engineering from PUC-RJ.

Founding partner and asset allocation principal with Skopos, an equity-focused investment fund company. Formerly, he worked at Socopa, Banco Fator, and Banco BBA Creditanstalt — where he was head of the proprietary equities desk. Pedro Cerize has a Business Administration degree (with honors) from Fundação Getulio Vargas and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC. Currently, he is a Board member at Porto Seguro, Comgás, Contax and PDG.

He started his career as a credit analyst at Chase Manhattan, has worked as a credit analyst at Citibank, as an equity analyst at Corretora Citibank, and has become head of risk and credit analysis at Citibank Asset Management — later on performing the same role at Western Asset Management. Werner Roger graduated in Agronomy from Unesp-Universidade do Estado de São Paulo and is an Apimec member.
